This role involves providing 24-hour emergencydepartment (ED) call coverage, ensuring the highest level of care for patients withENT-related emergencies. The position requires strong clinical expertise andthe ability to collaborate effectively with other specialists in a busyhospital setting. The schedule consistsof 24-hour call coverage shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM the following day. The physician will be based in a hospitalenvironment and will use the Cerner electronic medical record (EMR) system fordocumentation. The role includes assisting with oral and maxillofacial (OMF)trauma cases, working closely with other specialists to provide comprehensivecare. To support locum providers withthe responsibility of OMF trauma call, a system is in place that includes OMFresidents on call 24/7. These residents are the first responders to any OMFcases that present in the ED.
