PRN Infusion Nurse

<p>We are looking for a PRN Infusion Nurse to join our team! This PRN role is perfect for someone seeking a flexible schedule and supplemental income. Assignments will be offered on an as-needed basis, depending on clinic demand.</p><p><strong>Compensation: </strong>$40-$43 Per Hour</p><ul><li><p>Competitive per-hour rate DOE (1099 contract – you are responsible for your own taxes)</p></li></ul><p><strong>What you'll do:</strong></p><ul><li>Administer IV medications</li><li>Provide quality nursing care before, during and immediately after infusions ensuring comfort and safety</li><li>Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with regulatory standards</li><li>Maintain drug inventory, supplies and equipment. </li><li>Clean, sanitize, and prepare infusion chairs, equipment, and treatment areas between patients to ensure the highest level of infection control</li><li>Recognize and act on emergency care needs in the event of respiratory and/or cardiac occurrences. </li></ul><div><span style="font-weight: bold;">Requirements:</span></div><div><ul><li>Strong IV skills and knowledge of infusion protocols</li><li>Ability to work independently as well as a collaborative team </li><li>Excellent communication, critical thinking, problem-solving and patient care skills</li><li>Strong computer skills </li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills </li><li>Registered Nurse with current RN license </li><li>BLS certification required </li><li>Minimum of 1 year of infusion experience preferred</li><li>Knowledge and Proficiency in MS Excel, electronic health systems and databases</li><li>Knowledge of GCP, federal, state, and local regulations, including HIPAA policies and procedures. </li></ul></div>
