Thisposition requires availability from 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM in a rural CriticalAccess 25-bed hospital. There is no neonatal care provided; patients arestabilized and transferred if necessary. The physician will primarily handle labor and delivery cases, includingC-sections, as well as any emergency GYN and pediatric admissions to thehospital. Proficiency in labor and delivery, C-sections, and emergency OB/GYNor pediatric coverage is essential. Expectapproximately 2 newborn deliveries per day, with variations based on monthlydue dates.
