This position involves managing adult patients in ahospital setting and performing a range of cardiothoracic surgeries and relatedprocedures. The position requires24-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM, including weekends and on-call duties. On-call coverage is required for thisposition. Callback rates are as follows: 5% for weekdays, weekends, ER, andICU. The caseload consists of 98% adultpatients and 2% trauma cases, all within a hospital setting. On average, thereare 2 hospital patients per day, with 2 admissions per week and 1 ICU case perday.
