<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:0in">We are searching for a full time UrgentCare Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for our Trumbull, CT. center. The NP or PA will assist in the care of patients and assist indirecting staff in the support of care of patients. Reports the CenterAdministrator and Lead Physician.<br></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:0in"><o:p></o:p></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:0in"><br></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:0in">Centers are opened 7 days per weekfrom 8 AM to 8 PM, Monday – Friday and 8 AM to 5 PM on weekends. Full time andPart time openings available, 36 hour work weeks and full Benefits.</p><p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:0in"><br></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:0in"> <o:p></o:p></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:0in"><o:p>Salary: $60 per hour or above negotiable. </o:p></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:0in"><b><br></b></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:0in"><b>Qualifications:</b></p><ul><li>Valid NP or PA License</li><li>Some Urgent Care experience required</li><li>Current CPR certification</li><li>Demonstrated understanding of the concepts ofuniversal precautions, HIPAA and OSHA</li><li>Outgoing, friendly demeanor</li><li>Team player, excellent verbal and communicationskills, adaptable in different situations, possesses excellent clientinteraction skills, able to multi-task and work independently.</li></ul><p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpLast" style=""><o:p></o:p></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:0in"><b>Essential Duties andResponsibilities:<o:p></o:p></b></p><ul><li>Perform triage of newly registered patients</li><li>Direct patients to available examination roomsand ensure rooms are set up based on patient initial complaint</li><li>Collect biological specimens and perform testingwhen requested</li><li>Ensure each room is cleaned after each patientencounter</li><li>Wound care when indicated</li><li>Perform Electrocardiograms when indicated</li><li>Work in conjunction with the centeradministrator to monitor medical supplies</li><li>Work in conjunction with the nursing staff tocall back patients to ensure patient satisfaction</li><li>Assist physician with patient care whenrequested</li><li>Sterilization of all medical instruments afteruse</li><li>Interview clinical staff</li><li>Ensure center compliance with medical protocols</li><li>Assist medical director with the properfunctioning of laboratory – including running controls, proficiency testing,trouble shooting instrument problems</li><li>Scheduling of nursing staff to ensure coverageduring all hours of operation</li><li>Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.</li></ul><p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:0in">Today, with more than 250 clinicsand 800 in-network physicians caring for over 6 million patients a year, we arethe nation's leading provider of urgent care, accessible primary care, andoccupational medicine.</p> |
