<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:0in">Our not-for-profit hospital andphysician group located south of Boston, 45 minutes from Providence RI.<b> </b>is searching for a full timeGeneral Surgeon. <span style="background-image: initial; background-position: initial; background-size: initial; background-repeat: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-origin: initial; background-clip: initial; color: black;">This is afully employed positions with full benefits and competitive compensation.</span> </p><p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:0in"><br></p><p class="xxmsonormal"><b>Requirements:</b><o:p></o:p></p><ul><li>Board Eligible or Board Certified</li><li>Certifications Needed: BLS, ACLS, ATLS</li><li>Massachusetts Licensed preferred or must have the abilityto attain one</li><li>Massachusetts DEA or ability to attain one</li></ul><p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:0in">The Surgeon must be available foradditional work if the need arises, including without limitation the need tocover vacation, CME, sick time of peers and unexpected vacancies in staffpositions. Clinical responsibilities include but are not limited to thefollowing: All general surgery procedures; Inpatient consults, initial andfollow-up; Emergency room consultations; Office practice in the field ofGeneral Surgery; and Other clinical duties as required within the field ofGeneral Surgery Practice as established from time-to-time by the Department ofGeneral Surgery. </p><p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:0in"><br></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:0in">The Surgeon must comply to our policies regarding call andcoverage and shall participate in an on-call rotation to provide twenty-four(24) hour availability and coverage in person or on an on-call basis asdetermined and consistent with rules and regulations. This includes but not limited to ER consults. </p><p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:0in"><span style="mso-bidi-font-size:12.0pt;line-height:107%"><br></span></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:0in"><span style="mso-bidi-font-size:12.0pt;line-height:107%">Must maintain all requiredcertifications and qualifications. Provide support to Quality Assurance andUtilization Review activities including, without limitation, reporting andfeedback of results.</span> <span style="mso-bidi-font-size:12.0pt;line-height:107%">Provide support, including call coverage, to the bariatricsurgery program. </span>Must have a Massachusetts license or the ability to get one.</p> |
