The idealcandidate will manage complex cardiac post-operative patients with expertise andindependence, handling a variety of advanced procedures and critical careresponsibilities.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:0in;line-height:normal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif;mso-fareast-font-family:"Times New Roman";mso-font-kerning:0pt;mso-ligatures:none">In this role, youwill provide comprehensive care for a robust cardiac post-operative ICU,managing a patient census of 8 or more. Responsibilities include safelymanaging ventilators, vasopressors, inotropes, medications, and arrhythmias, aswell as advanced cardiac devices such as VV/VA ECMO, IABP, Impella,post-transplant cases, and VAD. You will perform critical procedures, includingcentral line and arterial line insertion, chest tube insertion and removal,intubations, and effectively managing pacing wires, sternotomy sites, and EVHsites. Collaboration with the multidisciplinary ICU team will be essential toensure optimal patient care and outcomes.
