<p class="MsoNormal">Weare seeking a Locums Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) to join our team inDothan, AL. The NNP will be responsible for providing care in the NICU andnewborn nursery, attending deliveries, managing NICU admissions, and respondingto OB requests. The positioninvolves working 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM or 24-hour shifts from7:00 AM to 7:00 AM. A minimum of 5-7 shifts per month is required. Weekendcoverage is necessary, but there is no call requirement. The NNP will cover the NICU and newbornnursery, handle admissions to the NICU, attend deliveries, and respond to OBrequests. The daily patient load is expected to be around 8-10 patients pershift. The facility includes a NICU with 16beds and a newborn nursery with 20 beds. The average daily census is 11.2patients in the NICU and 9 in the well-baby nursery.
